Installing and Configuring your LS2208 Bar Code Scanner

The LS2208 Hand Scanner is a plug-and-play device that needs no installation of drivers to work with Hero. It will need to be calibrated to automatically add the “ENTER” command after scanning an ID. This is a simple process that requires you to print this sheet and scan the bar codes below in order.


 

Download LS2208 Guide. Depending on the model, you will need one of the following resources: 
Downloadable 1 or Downloadable 2 

Basically:

• To reset the scanner to default settings, scan the SET DEFAULTS barcode.

• If you want the scanner to add an Enter key after each scan, scan the ADD AN ENTER KEY barcode.

• If you want it to add a Tab key, scan the TAB KEY barcode.

This will configure the scanner with the settings you need.
