Installing and Configuring your LI2208 Bar Code Scanner

The LI2208 Hand Scanner is a plug-and-play device that needs no installation of drivers to work with Hero. It will need to be calibrated to automatically add the “ENTER” command after scanning an ID. This is a simple process that requires you to print this sheet and scan the bar codes below in order. The LI2208 captures bar codes printed on traditional paper labels or displayed on the screen of a mobile phone, tablet, or computer.

Basically:

• To reset the scanner to default settings, scan the SET DEFAULTS barcode.

• If you want the scanner to add an Enter key after each scan, scan the ADD AN ENTER KEY barcode.

• If you want it to add a Tab key, scan the TAB KEY barcode.

This will configure the scanner with the settings you need.
