Why are we upgrading to the new version?
- The new version includes performance improvements, enhanced security features, and a streamlined user experience based on customer feedback.

- You can view SchoolMint Hero features and helpful migration information here.

Do users need to take any action before moving to the updated version?
- Every summer, Hero archives data from the previous school year. This archive affects all behavior-tracking data, including students’ Behavior Histories and Reports. At the end of the school year, all relevant reports in Hero can be exported to a CSV file so that data can be referenced easily in the future, if applicable.

Will schools need to reconfigure their Hero site from scratch?
- No, the following items will be migrated to the updated version of Hero to use for the 25-26 school year:
- Behavior Codes and Actions
- Bell Schedules
- Email Notifications
- Interventions
- The following items will need to be reestablished and reconfigured before the start of the 25-26 school year:
- SFTP credentials for exports to Hero
- Student, Schedule, and Faculty Imports in Hero

What needs to be done this summer so that schools have a successful relaunch on Hero for the 25-26 school year?
- Create SFTP credentials and reestablish data connection
- Configure automatic student and schedule imports
- Import a one-time faculty file
- If applicable:
- Review and update behavior codes, reactions, and notification templates
- Configure Events for the 25-26 school year
- Review and edit Bell Schedules
- Select Active Terms at the start of the school year (post a successful schedule import)

How will training be provided for the new features?
- We provided live webinars (see resources below) and updated user guides. Details will be repeatedly shared via email throughout the next couple of months and posted in the Help Center.
