Can I Request an Additional Printer?

If your school uses a printer that is not currently on our compatible list, it is possible to request testing on a new printer. Please read the conditions below and follow the steps if you would like to submit a request. 

New Printer Testing Conditions

• SchoolMint cannot guarantee that new printers will be compatible with SchoolMint Hero. 
• Adding a new printer is subject to testing from our development team. Testing can take up to 6 weeks. 
• If SchoolMint is not able to procure the printer independently, you may be responsible for shipping the printer to SchoolMint for testing. 

Steps to Request Printer Testing

1. Identify the Printer Name and Manufacturer Name of the requested printer. 
2. Prepare to share this information in your request ticket. Submit the request to Technical Support. Use the following prompt in your ticket: 

Subject: SchoolMint Hero New Printer Testing Request

Body: Hello, 

[Be sure to include your full name, email address, school, and organization that is connected to your account.]

I would like to request testing on a printer that is not currently supported by SchoolMint Hero. The printer name is __________ and the manufacturer name is ___________. 

I acknowledge that this is a request and SchoolMint cannot guarantee that the printer will be supported.
