To ensure that your PT1000 Desktop Printer or any other printer works properly and prints passes without any issues, it’s essential to install the correct driver. Step 1: Download the Driver

Step 2: Install the Driver
Once you have downloaded the driver, follow these steps to install it. Please note that this installation needs to be performed by someone with full administrative rights to the computer, such as an IT person, to ensure it is completed successfully.

Locate the downloaded driver file in your computer's download folder or where you saved it.

Right-click the file and select Run as Administrator to start the installation process.

Step 3: Configure the Printer with Zadig
Once you have installed the drivers and connected your PT1000 Desktop Printer, follow these steps to ensure the proper configuration using the Zadig app:
- Open the Zadig app.
- Under the Options dropdown, make sure List All Devices is selected.
- From the dropdown menu, select your PT1000 Desktop Printer.
- On the right side of the Zadig window, make sure WinUSB is selected as the driver. Then, click on Install or Replace Driver to update the driver for your printer.

- Confirm that your track codes are set up correctly to print passes in the SchoolMint Hero.
- Before printing a test pass, you may want to clear the Printer Spool if you do not want Hero to print all previously sent print jobs to this printer. If the spool is not cleared, all pending print jobs will be processed the first time you attempt to print using the steps above.
- Print a test pass to verify that the installation was successful.
