Setting new Active Terms at the beginning of a school term or semester is important in making sure the attendance data collected is accurate and will ensure that your teacher and student rosters are populated correctly.
Depending on your Student Information System (SIS), your Active Terms will vary in name. For example, PowerSchool generally uses "FY" "S1" and "S2" terminology.
Updating Active Terms
- Navigate to Config > Schools
- Click on the “edit schools” pencil icon.
3. If you completed your schedule import already, you will see a dropdown available under "Active Terms." If not, you need to complete the schedule import to select Active Terms.
4. Select the Active Terms by clicking the checkbox. Click Save School.
