Using Student Lookup

What is Student Lookup?

The SchoolMint Hero Student Lookup feature allows users to find, track, and edit student information. Users can search for students by name, grade, or ID number, check and edit their information, track their behavior, and print their ID and history. The tool also allows users to manually add a student.

Where is Student Lookup located? 

Users can get to Student Lookup via the Track a Student search box or from Behavior > Students.

Track a Student: Get to the Student Lookup page by searching for a student, grade level or ID number in the Track a Student search box. 

Navigate Directly: Go to Behavior > Students to get to the Student Lookup page. 

Student Lookup Functionality 

After searching for a specific student, grade level, or ID number, the corresponding students will populate below. 

Clicking in the blue arrow in the corner of a student's tile will go to the Student Profile page. On the Student Profile page, a user can see:

• Student Information
• Schedule
• Contacts
• Behavior History
• Incidents History
• Associated Accounts

Students can also be tracked from the Student Profile page. 

Add a Student from Student Lookup

A new student can be manually added from the Student Lookup page by selecting the green "Add" button in the upper right-hand corner. 

Note: If you mass import users, manually-added-users could be removed if the "Remove Missing" box is checked during import.
