Note: This article is for users with the "Manage Incidents" privilege.
For incidents to be created, we need to configure them first by adding types, places, and referrals.
Getting to the Incident Configuration Page
If you have the "Manage Incidents" privilege, you will have the "Incident" option on the config dropdown (config > incident).
Incidents Configurations
In here, we can add the incident types, which usually describe a category for the incidents, like fights, property damage, etc. We can also set custom locations for incidents, like hallways, lobbies, classrooms, etc. Incident roles can be configured as well, like aggressors, victims, or any other roles the school needs to configure.
To add options for incident types, locations, or roles, you can just select one of those on the left menu and then click on the plus button to add one:
This will open a pop-up to just write the name of the option and save it with the blue save button:
Referral Configurations
There are multiple categories for referrals, like context, bullying, state dispositions, and more. All of these can have multiple options for users to select. These can be added using the plus sign, typing the name of the option, and saving it just like the Incidents Configurations section:
