HERO SPRINT 44 - Jan 23, 2025

Features & Updates

• Behavior Code Config
  • The tables on this page will now react to the window size correctly
• Dashboard
  • Added a new graph that will display the top 5 behavior codes monthly/quarterly
• Reports
  • School Activity Report will now have pagination functionality
• Guardian Activation
  • Schools can now enable/disable the automatic activation email for guardian accounts on the school config page
  • There is an "Activate Guardians" button on the User config list page which will send the activation email to any guardian account that has not activated their account.
  • Guardian Accounts must Activate through invitation email before logging in for the first time

Bug Fixes

• Fixed the scroll bar height on the site to not include the header/navbar
• School Activity report filters now working correctly

  • Report filters now allow for deselecting the current selection

Bug Fixes

• Bell Schedule 
  • No longer able to save a bell schedule with an empty name and description
• The Student Id can no longer be saved as NULL

• Reports
  • Accrued Records
    • Now displays the correct Student Ids
    • Report is now automatically sorted by the Count in descending order
    • Pagination has been added to the report for easier navigation

    • Pagination has been added to the report for easier navigation
• Printing
  • Standard Desktop printer support has been added.
    • a print preview and a full page printout will be available when a USB pass printer is not selected
• Kiosk
  • Support has been added for EZPL printers such as the Godex BPDT4
  • When selecting your printer you will also have the option of selecting your print layout
    • Receipt or Pass sizes are available
• Imports 
  • You can now type to filter the drop downs when mapping your import fields
  • The ability to deselect your mapped field is now available
• Mobile
  • The total points for the tracked student will not display on the printed pass

Bug Fixes

• Print Copies option will now function normally and print the correct amount of passes
• Import field will no longer duplicate when mapping

Sprint 41 - November 13, 2024

Features & Updates

• A Day/B Day Schedules
  • Implemented the ability to import a DAY column on the student schedule imports
  • This column when mapped will automatically concatenate with the period code forming a new period
    • 1 + A = 1A
  • The new periods will be added to the period list and will be available to add to bell schedules.
  • If no day code is mapped on the imports, the period column will function normally
• Behavior Tracking - Back Button
  • The back button on the confirmation page at the end of the behavior tracking flow, will now send you back to the page you started from

• Student Pictures on teacher roster
  • The student images will now display normally on the teacher roster page.
• New default role for non teacher/non admin users seeded in new schools
  • This role is intended for non-admin users who do not have class rosters associated with them.
• Student imports - Duplicates on first import will not cause duplicate students
  • This issue only affected the very first time a student was imported and if they were listed twice on the import file.
• Mobile - Display student images
  • Student images will now display on the mobile app

Bug Fixes

• Student Groups search bar now functioning correctly
• Daily activity Export now exports all records instead of just the first page
• Daily Activity Report Filters will now work correctly
• Added a missing school group user role at every school for group admin users
• Kiosk Printing and search by id now functioning normally

Sprint 41(mid release) - October 31, 2024

• Student Profile Edit - Guardian Info
  • removed the guardian info and email from the “guardian info section
    • changed the area to contact info
  • renamed the contacts tab to guardians

  • Added the toggle to view deactivated records on the report

    • Text bubble will expand when a user clicks in to it
  • Changed the edit note pop up 
    • No more text formatting options - simple text field allowing the user to edit the note only.
• Time Zones - DST functionality
  • All areas of the site should now reflect daylight savings time changes correctly
    • Imports/Exports should run at normal times

Sprint 40 - October 23, 2024

• Custom Rosters
  • The ability to create and manage your own customer rosters
    • Same functionality as teacher rosters
• Behavior Tracking Notes
  • The ability to add a note to your behavior entries
    • Permissions added for:
      • Writing notes
      • Viewing notes
      • Editing notes
    • Multi-tracking
      • All students receive the same note
    • Note can be viewed/edited on student profile - behavior history
• Teacher Roster Sorting
  • Teacher Rosters sorted by last name by default
    • Can change to first name or id number
    • Can change from ascending to descending
    • Roster will always revert back to last name order
• Mobile - Assigned Reaction/Action date now printing on pass

• Can now edit notifications after they are set on a behavior code
• User filter on daily activity report now working properly
• Communications Log now returns notification correctly

  • Can now limit behavior code types a role has access to use

  • Now you select the User Type before choosing the User Role
  • User Roles are now tied to User Types

  • Scheduled imports
    • School Id is no longer required on schedule file
    • Scheduled imports can now be rescheduled
    • Ability to set a time and day to run the scheduled import
    • Run now options added to schedule imports
      • Buttons now read “save” and “save and run now”
        • Save will save the current configuration of the import job
        • Save and run will run the import instantly
• Deactivate Records
  • Schools can now use the to deactivate their entries as they did in Legacy Hero
• Error reporting on Imports
  • Action buttons next to import jobs now function
    • The eye icon will bring up the error log
    • The last import job will have the download button to download the last file that was used for import.
