Activating Guardian Accounts

There are only two ways to create guardian accounts:

1. Through the student upload, if the guardian's emails are in the import file.
2. The guardian account is automatically created when the guardian is manually added through the student's profile.

Guardians then receive an email with a link to log in and create a new password. 
 

Note: Guardian email addresses can't be repeated through any district or they won't be able to create  the accounts.

After clicking on the link, the guardian will set a password. 

Tip: Passwords must be at least 14 characters.

After clicking Save, guardians will be able to log in to SchoolMint Hero. 
 

Once on a Student Profile, guardians can see more detailed information, including the latest Behavior Tracks and Actions. Guardians can also navigate through the tabs (Information, Schedule, etc) to learn more.
